An Ordinance to amend the law relating to
companies.
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice au consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may by cited as the Companies Short title Ordinance, 1915, and shall be read and construed as one akl with the Companies Ordinances, 1911 and 1913, and the Construction. said Ordinances and this Ordinance may be cited together
as the Companies Ordinances, 1911-1915.
8. In this Ordinance,—

*British Company" casa company incorporated in British the United Kingdom, or in the Colony, or in any other Company, British possession, and includes a China Company and a Hongkong China Company.
"China Company "means a company limited by shares China
or by guarantee incorporated under the Companies Ordi. Company, unces, and the operations of which are directed and con- trolled from some place within the limits of the Ching (Companies) Order-in-Council, 19)
"China Orders-in-Council" means the China Onder-in-China Council, 1904, and any Orders-in-Conacil amending, read Orders-in- with, ancilliary to or substituted for the same.

"Registrar of Companies' means the Registrar of Registrar of Companies in Hongkong appointed under the Companies Companies. Ordinances, 1911-1915.
"Registrar of Companies at Shanghai" means the Registrar of Registrar of Companies at Shanghai appointed under the Companies China (Companies) Order-in-Conucit, 191
at Shanghai.
* Supreme Court for China” meana His Britannic Supreme Majesty's Supreme Court for China established under the Court for China Orders-in-Council.
